About Me
Dashiell is a 27 year old writer-director from Los Angeles, CA. He became an East Coast transplant when he set off for Northfield Mount Hermon, a boarding school in rural Massachusetts. He went on to study film and television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and has been in New York ever since. Inspired by film’s power to transport audiences to worlds outside of the everyday, Dashiell has spent the past few years meticulously developing two features: “Bottom Dollar: The Tale of Tip O’Hara,” an 1870s nautical piece and “Beneath The Sand,” a dark comedy set in an off-season summer town. When he’s not fixated on his darlings, Dashiell enjoys fishing, hiking, and going on road trips with his partner, Emma.
